A sense of impending doom

  1. How far do you guys think Rocket Lab can bleed? You think it gets back to the 10s?

  2. Eh I think it still gets a pop when it is officially announced

  3. Rawlinson looked to me more like they were about the announce a further delay unfortunately... but I hope you're right.

  4. IONQ filed their S1 on October 4th, even though a lot of their PIPE is locked up for 6 months, I believe it was undetermined how many shares were not locked up. With that in mind, do you guys think we'll still see a PIPE dump in the next week or two?

  5. ARQQ slowly coming back down. Waiting for a close to $11-12 entry. Get all those shorters out first.

  6. Didn't they file their S1 on the 1st, meaning the PIPE dump could occur any day now?

  7. It may not announce soon enough or it may have been priced in, in the short term 30% is decent profit for my tax advantaged account. Will still have some for longer term in a different account.

  8. From my understanding they can call warrants starting on October 30th, I have to double check this, so I will probably hold to then. But I could definitely see taking profit as well.

  9. Y’all think RKLB will drop to $11 or lower? Would love another entry price that low after my shares were called away overnight.

  10. Honestly I only think it drops down to like 13 maybe slightly more like the high 12s, but I think if there is a big dip, like 20% it is going to be bought up pretty quickly.

  11. Anyone know the details of RKLB warrants being called. Did a bit of research showing that they couldn't call them until a price point of $18 for 20 out of 30 days, but also seeing some talk of them being able to call them at anything over $10 for $0.10 each...

  12. They can call them for cashless redemption when the stock is over $10 for 20 out of 30 days (similare to what just happened to PTRA - rather than paying $11.50 to covert your warrant into common stock you get a fraction of a common stock in exchange for each warrant and don't have to pay any cash). The $0.10 thing is only if you do nothing and let the warrants expire rather than exercise them (you get 30 days to exercise once the warrants are called).

  13. Thanks for the clarification! Appreciate this.

  14. What are the odds RKLB PIPE unlock happens tomorrow or Friday after releasing that press release to pump the price a bit.

  15. Dammit RKLB unlock your pipe so i can feel comfortable buying you...

  16. A season for dip buying in full swing then.

  17. Lots of negative sentiment about spacs lately... and low morale around here... but honestly, other than the indices (which let's be honest, are way too boring for 99% of people here) what other strategy would be doing so much better than the common SPAC strategies (buy NAV commons to hedge risk, warrants, etc.)? From my standpoint, and maybe I'm wrong, it seems nearly everything has been completely bi-polar since February. This seems like a market where you pick individual stocks you believe in, and there are still some solid SPACs that have big upside potential, for instance SOFI.

  18. Seriously what is going on with IONQ, nothing drops 20% in a day for no reason...

  19. Hey really appreciate the response! Will definitely look into the steroid shots. Also will try the twisting exercises, that is something I havent done a lot of and it does seem to hit the area better than anything else so maybe that is the key to unlocking this. Thanks again!

  20. I saw a couple roll through my downtown area, I think they look pretty sharp... a lot better than a model 3.

  21. When are we anticipating the RKLB PIPE unlocks? The S1 was files on September 24th... so in the next week or two? I'm anticipating a big drop (puts are just too damn expensive though) with it dropping to like 12 or 13... I'll be taking a big position as soon as that happens.

  22. "Fool me once... shame on... shame on you... fool me.... you can't get fooled again."

  23. DMYI drilling to the center of the earth has me pissed off more than any recent movement lately... im assuming people afraid of the ticker change? Like seriously what the fuck is going on.

  24. I really... really... want to know who the MNTS buyers are and how in the hell that thing continues to be relatively immune to what is hitting every other despac. Only thing I can think of is it's the last of a few bagholders who bought in when it was in the 20s and they just keep trying to average down.

  25. The new meta is to short the hell out of these recently merged SPACs. Throw fundamentals out of the window. Is it a SPAC? Short it.

  26. Yet somehow absolute garbage like MNTS is relatively unaffected... I truly do not understand how that one is staying above $10

  27. Seriously, what would be the potential reasoning for not releasing redemption numbers? Even the SPACs that had greater than 80% released their numbers almost immediately. Are they trying some type of fuckery?

  28. Im pretty sure it was today. The vote is on Tuesday... every other spac has been 3 days before the vote, not three days including the vote.

  29. Is MoneyLion valuation even "that bad" at the current price? I remember some people liking FUSE back in the day.

  30. Already made some solid money on Lucid going from 19 to 27. Cashed out. I think it might have some room to run, but I also think it could dump at any moment... any reason a straddle options play would be a bad idea? I feel like price action is going to move hard one way or another.

  31. MNTS to $20 confirmed (tHe mArKeT cAn sTay irRatIonAl lOngER tHan yOu cAn sTay sOlvEnt)

  32. Yea, plus some extra gains for iv expansion in that scenario. Like I said less leverage than warrants but way less downside in cases like ggpi for instance

  33. Nice, thanks man, definitely going to give this strategy a try with a few tickers.

  34. At what point would you guys consider getting back into Rocket Lab? $10 - $12?

  35. MNTS sure is a head scratcher, but I’m gonna hold these puts. The extremely low volume makes me confident

  36. It is honestly mind boggling, has to be insiders trying to get it to $12.50 so they can sell, that's the only thing I can think of... the PIPE also didn't dump which is EXTREMELY odd, there just has to be more to the story with this one.

  37. I have pelvic pain... I plan to get an IV stem cell injection in a few months. An IV stem cell injection is probably less invasive than Botox... although Botox seems to have a good track record of efficacy.

  38. If absolutely nothing works after the botox, more trigger points, etc I will also look into the stem cell route

  39. Yep, tons of them just makes me feel high for about hours

  40. With VIH vote coming up in October, and it currently staying above 10, doesn't that effectively kill the idea of some type of squeeze?

  41. MNTS is a freaking mystery... there honestly has to be some kind of fuckery going on... I know it has low volume but it can't be retail propping this up...

  42. I missed 70k in gains on CCIV for thus reason. I wanted it to be a certain number and it missed by like 50 cents

  43. Im not sure any of our price targets were realistic then ha... i know mine was originally $50... then $70... ended up selling for like $47

  44. Did you get out premarket for that $47 on DA day?

  45. After hours right when they announced DA and it immediately started plummeting

  46. Looks like Adam Jonas also gave Tesla $10 price target in 2019. Thing is $12 for Lucid is still almost $20 billion market cap. For a company that hasn't proven a thing. And they'll probably make great cars but they need to start selling cars and then their stock price can jump each quarter when they actually hit milestones.

  47. You are correct, but he gave Fisker a $40 price target

  48. Also interesting lucid projects 22 billion revenue in 2026 fisker projects 11 billion in 2026. Lucid currently at 32 billion market cap, fisker at 4 billion. So actually his price targets aren't far off of corresponding to 2026 revenue at a price to 2026 revenue of about one to one. Which also seems like fair discounting of estimated future revenue.

  49. From my understanding though fisker has never produced a car nor are they close

  50. Starting Monday I’m blocking all squeeze guessers. Have a thesis?, awesome! Trying to swing BLUW or IRNT on stocktwits rumors, bye! I love this sub, but our good (kinda trash) SPACs are the maximum amount of trash I’ll accept.

  51. Dude you have to accept that this is going to happen... money isn't being made any other way right now in SPACland, except for a VERY few. Not only that but it already looks like the squeeze meta is ending as MMs figure out the game.

  52. Took a gamble taking SPY calls in September (from my understanding nobody really knows why it is the "worst" month) but saw data that says if it is already up more than 15% on the year, it will continue to go up even in September, we'll see I guess.

  53. Cool, just remember this the next time the government uses this precedent with something you aren't okay with... because I mean, the US government NEVER makes mistakes....

  54. The US government doesn’t always make mistakes either. This is one of those times where they aren’t. Get vaccinated

  55. Maybe you didn't read my post... I am vaccinated... and yes this is a mistake and will never make it through the courts, not only that, it sets a dangerous precedent. It should have been through incentives like another stimulus check for the vaccinated... you can't essentially force something on someone when there is no accountability whatsoever if something negative happens, however small that percentage may be. It is a horrible way to govern and will almost definitely be struck down by a federal judge. If anything it's posturing to get companies to mandate vaccinations on their own.

  56. Biden just basically handed down a federal vaccine mandate for any company with over 100 employees using the department of labor, the only "out" is weekly testing. So obviously I expect any biotech or pharma that deals with covid to pop
